BIG Dog Bag  for dogs up to 16kg Weight: In principle, the weight itself is not a problem. Even dogs with 24kg weight fit into the BIG Dog Carrier when they are squat (for example bulldogs).

Nevertheless, we recommend to carry dogs from at least 18-20kg in the XXL Dog Carrier

Even if the BIG is basically sufficient. Your own comfort is then the decisive criterion.

The weight indication serves more as a guide. Therefore, as slim dogs with the same body weight as squat dogs have a different instep length. Instep length is measured from the base of the tail to the base of the neck.

In a very slim dog, such as a greyhound with 16kg, for example, it may not fit in the BIG one.

As a problem solution for this we have created our SLIM-Pet Carrier. Which will be on the market from about mid / end of April 2019.

Small Pet Carrier as dog bag up to 10 kg Weight:

Similar to the BIG sample, it’s less about the weight.

Although 10kg weight should be the limit for this doggy bag. This alone for your own comfort. The comfort is from about 9kg weight in the BIG Dog Bag comfortable.

A maximum instep length  of 42 cm should not be exceeded in the Small sample!

In the highest weight category of our backpack selection we also find weights that can be worn over medium distances.

From our personal experience, we would say that everything from 20 kg only short-term purposes.  Such as stairs, via ferrata, medically indicated  or, for example, the lifting in the hunting stand!
